Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. (TSD) - as the clearing house, provides clearing and settlement of securities traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), and Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX), including government bonds traded on OTC markets. TSD acts as an intermediary in clearing and settlement of cash and securities between selling brokers and buying brokers that trade on investors’ behalf in order to facilitate the transactions and increase the confidence in clearing and settlement system in the Thai capital market. Members must have the qualifications stipulated by the clearing house.
